Edgware Removals HA8 · North London

Services

Everything we do

Eight services. The wrapping standard is identical on all of them — the difference between a whole house and a single wardrobe is scale, not care.

  1. 01

    House removals

    Whole homes across HA8.

Metroland semis, suburban terraces and the larger houses towards Canons Park and Stanmore — surveyed room by room and moved by a crew who stay with the job from the first blanket to the last walk-round.

  2. 02

    Family & downsizing moves

Long-stay houses, and the move out of one.

The moves with a loft, a garage, a shed and twenty years in them. Packed at a pace that lets people decide what is actually coming, rather than sweeping it all onto a vehicle.

  3. 03

    Flat & apartment removals

    Conversions, maisonettes and new build.

Above-the-shops conversions on the parades, purpose-built blocks, and the newer developments near the station. The route out of the building is planned before anything else.

  4. 04

    Man and van

A room, a part load, one heavy thing.

The same wrapping and the same crews at a smaller scale, priced by the job rather than by a clock you have to keep an eye on.

  5. 05

    Office & business removals

High-street units, offices and light industrial.

Desks, IT, stock and records moved out of hours and set out to a plan, so the business is working again at the new address rather than unpacking around customers.

  6. 06

    Packing & careful handling

All of it, some of it, or just the boxes.

Full pack, part pack — usually the kitchen and anything framed — or materials dropped off in advance so you can work through it at your own pace.

  7. 07

    Storage between dates

For the gap in a chain.

Containerised and listed on the way in, so the load waits somewhere sensible while the dates settle and comes out again in a useful order.

  8. 08

    European removals

Edgware to France, Spain, Italy and Portugal.

Road moves down the M1 and out through the Channel, with the customs declaration built from the survey inventory and lodged before the vehicle travels.

Packing & careful handling

Packing is quoted separately from carrying because it is genuinely separate work — and because plenty of people want to do some of it themselves.

  • Full pack — every room, by our crew, in the order the load will leave the house
  • Part pack — usually the kitchen, the glass and anything framed
  • Materials only — cartons, paper, tape and covers dropped off in advance so you can work at your own pace
  • Unpacking to whatever level you want: everything out and placed, or boxes opened and left

Storage between dates

Containerised storage for the gap in a chain — not a self-storage unit you rent and load yourself. If regular access is what you actually need, a storage company suits you better and we will say so.

  • Packed and loaded by us, using the same materials as a move
  • Listed on the way in, so one item can be found later without opening everything
  • Loaded in a useful order — what you want first goes in last
  • Delivered back out and set down when the dates are finally firm

Four things we will not do

A firm that says yes to everything is telling you something. These are outside our trade and we would rather you found out here than on the day.

House clearance and waste removal

A different trade under a different licence. We take away our own packing materials and nothing else.

Appliance disconnection

Gas, plumbed and hard-wired work needs a qualified engineer. We plan the day around their visit and will coordinate happily.

Cars and motorbikes

They belong on a transporter. A specialist will do it better than we would.

Grand pianos and rare instruments

Uprights we move routinely. Beyond that we point you at a specialist rather than learn on your instrument.

Not sure which one you need?

Describe the move and we will tell you — including when the smaller, cheaper option is the right answer.
